Welcome to Bethel Township’s historic roots– one of the original, unique homes that was built in 1827. The beautiful stone facade of this home was made with the blue granite in addition to field stone that was collected around this lot and surrounding areas of Bethel. This center hall colonial used to be two homes that has since been made into one large home. The foyer divides the house down the center. On one side of the foyer, you will enter into the dining room that is open to the kitchen. Beams run from the front of the home to the back, original wide plank flooring run throughout, and in the dining room, you will find one of five fireplaces located within this home. In 1979, this kitchen was reconfigured, and cabinets were then replaced. On the other side of the foyer, you will enter the grand living room boasting original oak flooring, a stone fireplace, and what used to be one of the front doors. The water heater was recently installed on November 28th, 2024. In 2014 the roof was replaced. In 2004 the concrete was replaced around the back of the home leading you to the driveway. The property line is about 5 feet from the neighbor’s garage, there is a yellow marking on the driveway before the grass (towards the road), and it splits almost down the center of the grass to the street. The well is a about 25 foot deep with about 10 feet of water, hand dug and is stone stacked. There is a filtration system, and the well water has been tested frequently.
